Former Strictly Come Dancing legends Brendan Cole, James Jordan, Pasha Kovalev, Vincent Simone and Ian Waite have announced they will be reuniting for a new show together. Described as a “nostalgic celebration of Latin, ballroom, tango, rumba and so much more”, the new production will play across the UK later this year.
Legends of The Dance Floor will tour nationwide from Tuesday 1st October to Tuesday 22nd October, stopping at London’s Adelphi Theater on Tuesday 8th October. Tickets go on sale on Monday 20th May – you’ll be able to get them via Ticketmaster.
The five professional dancers are joined by a supporting cast as they take the audience on a journey through their careers and Strictly highlights. Brendan Cole said: “We are going to produce something very special and very unique.
“I’m really excited to see what we produce on that stage because I know it’s going to be something really magical.” Pasha Kovalev, who competed in three finals and won the BBC show with the late TV presenter Caroline Flack in 2014, added: “This show is for anyone who loves to dance.
“We’re going back to our roots, back to traditional ballroom and Latin dance, it’s going to be so much fun on stage.” The stars have each headlined their own solo shows, but the 18-date run marks their first production together.
Italian dancer Vincent Simone, who appeared on Strictly from 2006 to 2012, said: “There will be lots of glamor and lots of passion. There will be so much talent on stage, not just from the five of us but also from our amazing cast.”
