Production images have been released for the new musical A Mirrored Monetnow in previews at Charing Cross Theatre ahead of its press night on 24 March 2026.

Written by composer, lyricist and dramatist Carmel Owen and directed by Christian Durham, the musical explores the life of Impressionist painter Claude Monet through a blend of memory, music and art inspired by letters and diaries from Monet and his contemporaries.

Set in Paris in 1916, the story follows an ageing Monet as he struggles to complete his Water Lilies commission while the First World War encroaches. As creative block takes hold, he retreats into memories of his younger years alongside fellow artists Renoir and Manet, and his muse Camille Doncieux.
