Ennismore has officially announced the opening dates for two new hotels in the UK: Hyde London City and The Hoxton, Edinburgh.
Debuting in mid-2024, the seven-storey Hyde London City will mark the brand’s first presence in the UK. Located in a Grade II listed building in the Old Bailey in the City of London, this 111-room property showcases a modern Turkish restaurant, underground cocktail and record bar.
In mid-2024, The Hoxton will announce its first Scottish property with the opening of a new location in Edinburgh.
Located in the Haymarket neighborhood, the 214-room hotel will have an open lobby, the Italian restaurant Patatino and versatile event spaces.
In addition, the property will introduce the Hoxton brand’s first apartment hotel concept, with three separate apartments, each with three bedrooms, to meet the needs of long-term stays.
The first hotel under the Hoxton brand was launched by Sinclair Beecham, the entrepreneur behind Pret A Manger, in Shoreditch in 2006. Ennismore founder Sharan Pasricha bought the hotel in 2012. The brand has since expanded with four properties in London and hotels in Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome.
Ennismore CEO Gaurav Bhushan said: “Ennismore is uniquely positioned in the industry with an ecosystem of experiences built around hotels, all-inclusive resorts, restaurants and bars, branded residences and co-working.
“Our growth over the next few years shows that there is strong desire and demand for lifestyle and leisure brands in all regions.”
Ennismore, a joint venture with hotel giant Accor, currently offers 144 hotels and resorts.
