February may be a short month, but it’s jam-packed with celebrations and occasions. After all, there’s everything from Valentine’s Day to World Pizza Day (February 9). And for cocktail lovers, there is the ever-important National Margarita Day – which you can celebrate this year by sipping on free margaritas!

On February 22, Mexican chain The shepherd is inviting thirsty Londoners to raise a glass to National Margarita Day. Across four of their London locations, they’re giving away a whopping 400 free margaritas. And to claim them, all you have to do is turn up to enjoy a meal!

They’re even giving thirsty Londoners a choice for their free margaritas. Those claiming a drink can choose between the trademark The shepherd or the On The Rocks. The former is served frozen, while the latter is served on the rocks. So it all comes down to personal margarita preference. How will you order yours?

How to get free margaritas

It’s as easy as turning up! El Pastor is giving away free margaritas on a first-come-first-served basis on Saturday, February 22. Each of the four participating locations has 100 drinks up for grabs, available from when they open until the drinks are gone!

If you fancy a free margarita, head to one of the following locations when they open:

  • El Pastor Stoney Street – 7a Stoney Street, London Bridge, SE1 9AA
  • Pastor Soho – 66-70 Brewer Street, Soho, W1F 9UP
  • El Pastor Coal Drops Yard – Unit 22, Bagley Walk Arches, Coal Drops Yard, N1C 4DH
  • Pastor Battersa – Unit 21-22. Circus Road West, Battersea Power Station, SW11 8EZ

The complimentary margaritas are available for both walk-in diners and those with a reservation. But do be warned, they’re not available for takeaway, only for those dining in. And they are limited to one per person – which makes sense.

So head on down, grab a free drink, and chow down on some tacos. You’ll no doubt find yourself ordering even more margaritas while you’re at it!
