How to get tickets to the New Year’s Eve fireworks in London
These fly out in rapid fashion every year, but you’ll have your first chance to book your spot for London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks this Friday, October 17 at midday (UK time), and you can find them on Ticketmaster. If you miss out on this batch of tickets, there will be another set on sale later in the year, so not all hope will be lost (though the second batch will be far smaller).
Prices for tickets depend on which area you stand in, with each area labelled a different colour to determine the categories. Those who live in London are also offered a discount on tickets, with the cheapest tickets priced at £20 for those who live in the city, compared to £40 for anyone travelling into the capital to see the fireworks.
Speaking on the fireworks, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said: “There is no better way to welcome in the new year than by uniting with Londoners and visitors on the banks of the River Thames for our spectacular celebrations.
“Every year the eyes of the world watch as our capital’s unique fireworks, lighting and music display shows off the very best of London. It’s a fantastic advert for our city and a huge boost for our hospitality and tourism industries, as we build a better London for everyone. The only way to experience this unique show in person is by buying a ticket, so I urge anyone wanting to attend to do this as soon as possible.”
If you miss out on tickets, you sadly won’t be able to access the authorised areas for the 2025 New Year’s Eve fireworks. You can of course, see them at certain vantage points in the city and watch the action from afar across the beautiful skyline.
Ticketed spots for the London New Year’s Eve fireworks are valid from 8pm on December 31, 2025 to 12:30am on January 1, 2026. Find out more details via the Mayor of London website.
