The Traitors US season 2’s Dan Gheesling was the first traitor exposed by the loyalists, and he now shockingly reveals that he never heard Parvati Shallow’s warning not to trust Peter Weber, a mistake that led to his expulsion. During The Traitors US episode 5, Peter Weber came up with a brilliant plan to trick the traitors into murdering someone with a shield. He told three suspected traitors—Dani, Parvati, and CT Tamburello—that he had the shield, hoping that they would try to assassinate the shield holder instead of Bergie Bergersen. Despite Parvati’s warning that Peter was probably lying, Dan murdered Bergie anyway, a mistake that cost him the game.
In an interview with EW, The Traitors US season 2 star Dan admitted that after Janelle Pierzina’s eviction, he felt like the wind was knocked out of him when he went to the tower. He admitted that when he watched the show back, he didn’t remember Parvati telling him that Peter could be lying. Dan said he texted Parvati to tell her she didn’t remember and she texted back, “Yeah, dum-dum.” He added“You have one of the biggest Survivor players who knows exactly what’s going on and you don’t listen to her. And for me, that was a huge mistake because I trusted Parvati implicitly and I really respect her as a player.”

And there’s a moment where I’m like, “He got me, and I love it.” Dan added that while his expulsion hurt, he understands that it was Peter’s plan “Nice move. I mean that’s what you want to see.”
Dan is considered one of the most strategic Big brother players of all time.
