Coca-Cola launches new cherry float flavour in the UK
The new Cherry Float, alongside Cherry Float Zero Sugar, expands Coca-Cola’s popular cherry range.
The drinks brand says the drink is inspired by the nostalgic taste of classic soda floats, combining cherry notes with smooth vanilla flavour.
Ellie D’Silva, Senior Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: “Cherry flavours continue to be a fan favourite, and the introduction of Cherry Float across both original and zero sugar variants gives consumers even more choice within the Coca-Cola Cherry range.
“Inspired by the nostalgic taste of classic soda floats, the new flavour reflects our continued focus on innovation while offering fans new ways to enjoy the iconic Coca-Cola taste.”

The company is also responsible for several other brands, including Sprite, Fanta and Dr Pepper.
Fans split on new Coca-Cola Cherry Float flavour
Coke fans have been left divided on the new flavour, with some loving it but others remaining unsure.
Discussions have been ongoing in the Coca-Cola Reddit page, where one fan described it as “so good”.
Another wrote: “This may be one of my favourite flavours, I really liked it.”
Others were not as keen, with one saying: “Was kinda disappointing tbh. Basically a mix of all 3 (Reg, Cherry and Vanilla) but better than none of them on their own.”

A second said: “I got this the other day but I’m not a fan.
“It tastes like they mixed cherry cola with sugar-free vanilla. I can taste the cherry, but then also that same foul vanilla flavour they have in the zero sugar vanilla cola.
“Maybe it’s just me. It’s disappointing.”
