The Centrepoint Ultimate Quiz, held beneath Shakespeare’s Globe at The Underglobe in London raised funds for Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme.

The scheme supports young people leaving homelessness with stable, affordable accommodation, giving them a platform to start building a future.

Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman, who returned as host for the event, said: “It was a pleasure to host Centrepoint’s Ultimate Quiz again. The evening was full of energy and fantastic prizes, but what matters most is the support shown for young people facing homelessness. I’m glad to help highlight the fantastic work Centrepoint does.”

The quiz, running since 2010, brought together new and returning teams for an evening of fun and fundraising.

Centrepoint supporters and celebrity guests took part in the challenge, while Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley delivered live performances during the evening.

The main aim was to raise funds for Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme (ILP), which offers genuinely affordable housing for young people.

Residents pay no more than one third of their take-home pay each month.

The ILP’s flagship site, Reuben House in Peckham, south London, was opened by Centrepoint patron HRH The Prince of Wales in 2023 and now houses up to 33 young people.

The fundraiser was held in partnership with Nationwide as part of its Fairer Futures social impact strategy.

Charlotte Kensett, director of social impact and customer experience at Nationwide, said: “We’re proud to support the Ultimate Quiz and the vital work of Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme. Through our Fairer Futures strategy, we’re committed to creating better access to affordable housing to for young people who need it most.”
