Charity regulator appoints Interim Manager to William Blake House Northants

The charity was placed under statutory inquiry in February 2026 to investigate serious concerns around possible financial mismanagement. 

Adam Stephens of S&W Partners Ltd has been appointed as Interim Manager of the charity to the exclusion of the charity’s trustees. His tasks include: 

  1. Taking over the general administration and management of the charity. 

  2. Taking?any steps?immediately?necessary to secure the property of the charity including its assets and bank accounts.? 

  3. Assessing the charity’s viability to continue providing services to its beneficiaries. 

  4. Representing the charity in negotiations with HMRC to resolve the charity’s debt. 

The Commission’s inquiry into the charity remains ongoing.
