Bachelorette season 20 star Charity Lawson is coming to the defense Bachelor season 28 contestant Rachel Nance criticizing the fans of his show because of them “mean girl energy.”Bachelor season 28 leading man Joey Graziadei was Charity’s runner-up, so he has a connection to this season. Joey has now narrowed his group of 32 women down to three: Kelsey Anderson, Daisy Kent and Rachel. He said goodbye to fan favorite Maria Georgas after this hometown date, which may have contributed to fans pointing at Rachel.
in the X message Charity shouted Bachelor season 28 fans for being mean to Rachel.
Charity wrote, “the comments to Rachel after hometowns are extremely weird… 1. it’s a show, relax 2. you don’t have to tear someone else down to support the person you support more (It gives off mean girl energy, the same energy you were wild about earlier this season). Charity was likely referring to Maria’s breakup and also the drama that followed when Sydney Gordon, Lea Cayanan and Jess Edwards bullied her earlier in the season.

The Bachelor Season 28 blamed for Rachel’s bad editing
In a Reddit thread, Reddit user Hungry-Nerve-9743 discussed how Bachelor season 28 producers haven’t shown enough of Joey’s connection to Rachel. They said he wouldn’t have made it to the final if they didn’t have the connection. Hungry-Nerve-9743 also asked fans to consider that maybe Rachel was “do we get a bad edit that doesn’t allow us to see their connection?” They were referring to the fact that the first half of Rachel’s hometown date was not shown on the show. They also said, “The amount of hate Rachel is getting is really alarming.” and cited racist comments written on her Instagram posts.
Charity is right that some fans are very hypocritical For bullying Rachel online, especially when they were so furious with Maria’s treatment during Bachelor season 28. Contestants should never be attacked personally, especially when it comes to competition, but Charity experienced similar disgusting behavior from fans during her season as well. Viewers need to understand that Bachelor producers create a narrative and they don’t always show the truth when creating their stories.
Rachel has been a worthy, funny and caring competitor. She hasn’t been involved in any drama and is completely focused on Joey. It’s easy to see why she enjoys spending time with him, especially since they always have so much fun together. They definitely have a strong connection, and those who can’t see that might be too blinded by their love for the other contestants. Obviously, Rachel deserves to be in the bottom three because Joey chose her, and that is his decision. Hopefully Rachel and Joey’s connection continues to grow stronger and viewers get to see it.
