Burger King set to open new London Strand restaurant

The fast-food giant has announced that it will be opening the doors to its new Strand restaurant on April 14.

To celebrate the grand opening, Burger King UK will give away 1,000 free Whoppers or plant-based Whoppers to “lucky customers.”

It is set to provide a handy spot for the capital’s tourists, commuters, and locals, thanks to its central location and its opening hours of 8 am to 11 pm.

The restaurant is also equipped with new features, including a conveyor belt system that delivers meals from the kitchen to the staff counter.

This offer is limited to the first day of opening and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

To claim their free burger, customers simply need to place an order for a Whopper or a plant-based Whopper at a kiosk within the Strand location.

However, the excitement does not stop here for Burger King fans.

The 100th person to place an order on opening day will be awarded a year’s supply of Burger King at the Strand restaurant.

Limited-edition Burger King UK tote bags, complete with a leaflet of exclusive offers, will also be available for the first 250 customers.

Operations manager at the Strand Burger King, Arlene Pallares, said: “It’s no secret that the Strand restaurant is one of our biggest and boldest across the whole country, and it’s an amazing feeling to finally open up in such an iconic part of the city.

“We really believe that this restaurant will become a go-to for hungry customers, whether they work nearby or they’re just visiting for the day.

“Me and the team can’t wait for burger lovers to set foot in here for the first time.”
