Bridget Jones star Renee Zellweger has been spotted filming a scene for the upcoming sequel in West London. The date night scene with Leo Woodall for the fourth film in the ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’ franchise was filmed in Notting Hill on Tuesday (May 21).
Zellweger, 55, has reprized her famous role once again and was seen filming the film outside The Electric Cinema. In the film, Bridget has a girl with a young lover named Rockstar played by Woodall, 27.
It’s been seven years since the third film, Bridget Jones’s Baby and spoiler alert for those asking about her husband Mark Darcy; he is unfortunately now her late husband. Colin Firth who plays Darcy has a few scenes in the film but they are only minor.

In the pictures, Bridget is grinning like a Cheshire Cat as her beau turns up ready for their date. Rockstar isn’t the only man in Bridget’s life in this film as 12 Years A Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor plays PE teacher Mr Walker, and Hugh Grant’s Daniel Cleaver also stars.
