Brad and Dills is in Rowlands Hill Road near the Royal Free Hospital and is a sister venue to cafes in Harpenden, Hertford and St Albans.

Posting on Instagram on Monday (February 9) the owners Alex Rollings and Olly Denley urged customers to watch out for a new expanded spring menu on the way.

“HAMPSTEAD WE ARE OPEN. We are a short walk from Belsize Park, right next to the Royal Free. A beautiful space off the beaten track. Kicking things off with bagels and coffee before we introduce a bigger menu (spring).

The brand was started five years ago by Harpenden entrepreneurs and school friends Alex Rollings and Olly Denley and was inspired by Alex’s middle name and Olly’s nickname. (Image: Brad and Dills)

“Please come say hi! The team are super excited to welcome you.”

Responses were enthusiastic with one posting: “Congratulations, looks amazing.”

While another wrote: “Eee so excited after visiting in St Albans, welcome to London!”

The new cafe is open daily from 8am to 4pm and the menu includes speciality coffee by BAD, and American style freshly baked bagels with delicious fillings.

House specialities include the classic salmon with cream cheese and pickles; egg and cheese with secret sauce; the best selling pollo picante with fried chicken, nduja mayo, mozzarella, crispy onions; and the Lebaneasy with falafel, spiced hummus pickled red cabbage and spicy sauce.

Meanwhile the Englishman features smoked ham mustard mayo cheese and pickles.

The brand was started five years ago by Harpenden entrepreneurs and school friends Alex and Olly.

Inspired by Alex’s middle name and Olly’s nickname, Brad and Dills grew out of mobile vans parked outside a pub during lockdown.

Now their other venues also serve wine, cocktails, beer, cheeses and meats.

On their website they write: “Brad & Dills is an independent coffee and bagel house. We are a bunch of locals who enjoy tasty food and great coffee (also the OCCASIONAL glass of vino).”
