The Open Air Theatre show also stars Sam Ryder and Julian Clary
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar is returning to London this year, and it’s got an extremely stacked line-up. Playing the titular role of Jesus is former Eurovision star Sam Ryder.
However, opposite him is a slew of massive names. King Herod, the show’s menacing antagonist will be played by no fewer than six big-name celebrities.
Topping the list is iconic British musician Boy George, lead singer of Culture Club and all-round legend. But he’s not doing it alone.
The Karma Chameleon singer will be sharing the role of King Herod with some other huge stars, including Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Simon Russell Beale, Richard Armitage and Layton Williams.
