Music icons Culture Club have just announced a huge arena tour in December. It will see Boy George and the other members play 10 dates in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
And they will be stopping at London’s The O2 on Sunday 15th December. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 14 at 9.30 – you will be able to get them via Ticketmaster.
The tour culminates in the capital and celebrates the band’s first two monumental albums, ‘Kissing to Be Clever’ and ‘Colour by Numbers’. Fans can expect to hear all the classic hits, including Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, Karma Chameleon and Time (Clock of the Heart), right up to their current release.
The performers will be joined by special guests Tony Hadley and Heaven 17. Tony Hadley will perform songs celebrating Spandau Ballet’s classic albums ‘True’ and ‘Parade’, while Heaven 17 will perform tracks from their first two acclaimed albums ‘Penthouse and Pavement” and “The Luxury Gap”.
Boy George said: “I’m calling this The Zero Arguments tour because we’re performing our first two albums ‘Kissing To Be Clever’ and ‘Colour By Numbers’ exactly as they were made and in exact order. I love the idea of this because some of these songs are fan favorites and have never been performed, I think it will be really special for the fans.”
“Kissing to Be Clever, Culture Club’s 1982 chart topper, catapulted the group to international fame. They returned in 1983 with ‘Colour by Numbers’ and cemented their place as pop icons.
The critically acclaimed album, which won multiple awards and sold over 10 million copies worldwide, featured the band’s biggest hit to date, Karma Chameleon. The song topped the charts globally and became the biggest selling single in the UK that year.
