His attacker is still at large, the Metropolitan Police said

A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the head in Southwark. The teenager was attacked on Albrighton Road, within the Dog Kennel Hill Estate in East Dulwich, shortly before 7.10pm on Saturday, March 28.

He was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service paramedics and rushed to a nearby hospital. His injuries are life-threatening, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

The boy’s family are aware and being supported by specialist officers with the force. No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries continue.

Officers are working to establish the circumstances leading up to the stabbing. They urge witnesses to come forward as soon as possible to help in the investigation.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact 101, quoting CAD6251/28March. Anonymous reports can be made to Crimestoppers via 0800 555 11l.
