Kevin’s tenacity and dedication to his artistry demonstrate his unwavering commitment to glassblowing, demonstrating his ability to overcome challenges and persevere in the face of adversity. He has not given any updates after 2022.

Now based in Vancouver, he owns and operates the Vancouver Studio Glass studio and gallery. Here she offers classes, commissions, and a wide selection of glass artwork to order from a variety of talented artists. Benjamin is a very successful glass artist.

Leah Kudel

Leah’s journey into glass art began with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education and Glass Fine Arts at the prestigious University of Alberta and Alberta College of Art and Design. His talent was quickly recognized when he presented his work in numerous glass exhibitions and competitions. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it to the halfway point Blown away.
After her show, which culminated in sixth place, Leah started her own glassmaking company, Suspended Studio, in Edmonton, Canada. Here, she makes custom artwork and nurtures a creative community by offering classes suitable for all ages. His studio doubles as a gallery, apartment collections are available for purchase and convenient online delivery. He mostly works with glass, but also creates with other means.
Momoko “Momo” Schafer
Blown Away season 1
Momo participated in the exhibition during her residency at the Worcester Center for Crafts Artists and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Arts and Design. He interested the viewers of the show with his unique and creative glass pieces. It seemed like the judges didn’t really understand his work and unfortunately he was eliminated midway through the competition. However, that hasn’t slowed Momo down since the show.
Currently, Momo is a studio assistant for Toots Zynsky, and her work is on display at the Sandwich Glass Museum in Massachusetts, which she shared photos of on her Instagram. A few of his artworks are available for purchase on his website, including lotus sculptures and small statues. Momo currently has a gallery of her work at Upper Market Gallery.
Patrick Primeau

After the exhibition, Alexander continued his academic career as a professor at Salem Community College and currently holds the prestigious position of Glass Studio Director at Wheaton Arts. Known for his expertise, he has been invited to speak at several prestigious events and his artwork has graced exhibitions worldwide. He is a true craftsman and a great teacher spreading the art of glassblowing.
Janusz Poźniak

Known for his expertise, he led workshops worldwide and collaborated with renowned artists such as Dale Chihuly of the famous Chihuly Glass. After the show, Janusz channeled his passion to expand his business, Hohm-meyd, together with his wife Miishka. He also values the moments with their two children, Attila and Olek.
