Guitar virtuoso Joe Bonamassa has just been revealed as the latest headliner for this year’s Black Deer Festival, the award-winning UK event celebrating Americana. He will perform at Eridge Park in Kent – by direct train from London Bridge – on Friday 14 June.
He joins the previously announced artists for the summer concert series including Sheryl Crow, Turin Brakes, Dylan Gossett, The Shires, Seasick Steve and more. Tickets are on sale now – you can buy them here.
Joe Bonamassa has topped the Billboard Blues Album Chart a staggering 26 times. The festival broke the news on Instagram with a post that read: “As we join our line-up in 2024, we have some of the best acts to bring you – including the one and only Joe Bonamassa as a UK festival exclusive for our Friday night headliner! ” And fans were quick to share their thoughts.
One user commented: “Wow, nice to see Joe Bonamassa on the line, very cool!” Another added: “Bring on the summer Black Deer Festival.”
Meanwhile, country legend Sheryl Crow will storm the park’s main stage on Saturday, June 15. The nine-time Grammy winner is known for hit singles like “All I Wanna Do,” “Soak Up the Sun,” “If I Makes You Happy” and “Every Day is a Winding Road.”
Fans can expect a career-spanning set from the American artist, who was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her next album, Evolution, is scheduled for release on Friday, March 29.
Other acts added to the line-up include Golden Globe-winning actor and musician Damian Lewis, singer-songwriter BC Camplight, Dale Watson & His Lonestars and Eli Paperboy Reed. However, the organizers have not specified exactly who is playing on which day, so we recommend that you check each artist’s social events and live concert diaries.
