Taylor Swift will perform at Wembley Stadium for eight days this year as part of her European Eras Tour, from June to December. She will perform at the famous arena on June 21, 22 and 23, then on August 16, 17, 19 and 20.
Wembley’s website states that every single date is sold out, so bad luck for those hoping to get a ticket. When it comes to trains and the Underground, Wembley Stadium is served by two Tube stations and three lines – Wembley Park, which runs the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, and Wembley Central, which runs the Bakerloo line and the London Overground.
But some Swifties might want to flock there by car. In that case, you need to know exactly where the best places to park are.
Where to park
The best thing is to head to one of Wembley Stadium’s official car parks which can be booked here . There are no places left for Taylor’s June date, but there are plenty of places available for August which cost £40 plus a £2.50 booking fee.
Although concert goers wish they could, street parking is strictly prohibited as these are for locals. Brent Council’s website says the rules for event days – which can see up to 90,000 flock to the stadium – are particularly strict.
Its website reads “event day restrictions apply 8:00 a.m. to midnight on main roads to stadium and generally 10:00 a.m. to midnight elsewhere in residential areas outside controlled parking zone.”
Wembley Stadium also strongly encourages people to avoid “pop up, private car parks that tend to appear on event days. The website says: “They probably don’t have the right insurance in place – so you’re not covered if something happens to your car and they are guilty.
