Below decks season 11 the premiere introduced a brand new cast series and took them on their first charter, bonding and showing any cracks in the foundation almost immediately. New Bosun Jared made several mistakes
Although he worked hard on his first charter of St. David’s, Jared made several mistakes during Below decks season 11 premiere. As one of the ship’s new yachtsmen, Jared’s first meeting with Captain Kerry showed that he would have to work harder than many of the other newbies he would be with on the St. David. Captain Kerry said he knew Jared’s position, bosun, better than anyone else on the yacht, so he was going to be extra tough on Jared when he made mistakes.
Before the first charter, Jared made the mistake of not informing Captain Kerry that he was going to drop anchor. The captain said he wasn’t upset by the mistake, but he followed Jared as the charter continued. Jared then made a few other mistakes with the charter guests present, which was frustrating for both the rest of the crew and the captain. Although Jared apologized for the mistakes he made, Captain Kerry said that he will follow the bosun through future charters.
There is already tension between the deck crew
Although the crew seemed to get along well at first, after their first meeting with Captain Kerry, Fraser said he planned to do things a little differently with his flight attendants after the drama of the previous season. When Fraser had been working with two stews that couldn’t stand each other Below decks in season 10, he was clear that this would be a completely different experience if he had anything to do with it. Fraser did his best to get the flight attendants into jobs that would be best for them and hoped things would go well.
At the beginning of the order, Barbie was annoyed by Cat’s pace. Although Cat was used to a different type of charter, she felt overwhelmed by the way Fraser and the other flight attendants relied on her to get things done quickly. On the outside of things, Jared and Ben had trouble communicating in the early days of the First Charter. When Captain Kerry yelled at Jared that the anchor had been dropped incorrectly, he said that Ben hadn’t told him the correct amount of chain to let out. Ben was irritated but the team went ahead with the charter regardless.
Cat Baugh cried the first day
As a new stewardess on a superyacht, Cat has previously worked on private charter magazines and shared the stress of a private Charter is nothing compared to the stress of a superyacht. He explained that in his previous jobs, he was able to do the work he needed on his own time without others relying on him to help in areas he didn’t normally work on. At St. David’s, Cat was expected to jump in wherever she was needed, and found that overwhelming. Chef Anthony Iracane worked too slowly
Chef Anthony worked his way through the first course at a normal pace, but things got tricky when he prepared the dishes and felt they weren’t up to par. Chef Anthony shares that he is a perfectionist, and he worked hard to get the first course on the plate and served. When he started working on the second one, Fraser hoped it would be quick. Unfortunately, things didn’t pick up for Chef Anthony as he worked on the second course. After more than an hour, the guests were confused about where their meals were, and Fraser was getting annoyed. Chef Anthony was able to serve, but his timing left a lot to be desired.
The guests are a bit too rude
Early on the day the charter began, Below decks season 11’s Fraser said he gets a lot of “sexual energy” from the charter guests. The guests, a couple of newlyweds and a group of their friends from Texas, openly discussed their sleeping arrangements during the luncheon service. The the guests got a little more raucous throughout the day, and things changed as the day progressed as the sun and alcohol wore on their behavior. While serving dinner, the guests had comfortably talked openly about sexual experiences that made the crew uncomfortable.
Ben Willoughby revealed that Camille Lamb cheated on him
After starting the previous seasons Below decks, Ben serves as St. David’s Chief Warden in the season premiere. While Ben found it interesting to keep yachts together, he is interested in discovering something about the boats he works on. Although he realizes that it might not be the best practice, he is simply too romantic to stop. Although things had been going well with the new couple at the end of the previous season, things changed quickly.
