Below deck the Mediterranean Sea, a spin-off from the original Below decks, has always been a completely different beast. Sandy as captain of the Yawn Deck Med the team is considered at a different work level than anyone else Below decks the crews. While some find Captain Sandy difficult to work with, others enjoy his leadership style and appreciate that he cares so deeply about the results of his crew.
Although some of the crew working with Captain Sandy find things difficult with her as their captain, others are happy to return to work with her. A new cook in the house Below decks world, Johnathan Shillingford is delighted to be joining the Mustique crew for Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 9. Chef Johnathan has 7 years of experience in the sailing industry and hopes his cooking skills will go down well with the charter guests coming to Mustique this season. Johnathan shared E online of which he is a fan Great Boss and To the top of fashion, but is very excited to perform Below decks. As for the special skill, Johnathan mentioned, “twerking, singing, cooking and designing” all of whom could help him with the superyacht.
Aesha Scott
Main stew
familiar faces, Aesha last appeared as Captain Jason’s main stew on Under the deck, below, helping to mitigate interior crew-to-crew issues and create a seamless experience for charter guests. Aesha has been praised for her great working relationship with Captain Jason, so bringing her organization to Captain Sandy is an interesting switch. With 8 years of sailing experience, Aesha has honed her skills indoors and made sure she knows everything possible when moving on to a new challenge. Aesha shared her “management skills (are) tested” on Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 9
Bri Muller

New faces in Mustique, Stew Bri Muller is from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and has 3 years of boating experience coming up Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 9. He shared that he’s had weird subscription guests in the past, and explained that the craziness sometimes mixes in such a way that he doesn’t always think it’s crazy anymore. Bri shared that her favorite activities are sailing “anything that requires getting into the water” and from Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea in the season 9 trailer, it looks like he might want to dive into the ocean to escape the drama of Mustique.
Elena Dubaich
Stew
Although he is not a new cast member Below deck the Mediterranean Sea, Stew Elena Dubaich only appeared during one Charter on Deck Med season 7, filled in for Kyle Viljoen when he injured his ankle at the end of the season. However, he hasn’t had much time to get used to the charter style Below decks deliver, Elena has 8 years of experience in the yachting industry, which helps her get the bearings right. He shared that he has had some amazing experiences while yachting, including the invitation “Going on my first helicopter ride overlooking the British Virgin Islands.”

Although he is a new face Below deck, the Mediterranean circuit, Bosun’s Ian Maclean is not new to the boating lifestyle. With five years of boating experience, she is one of Mustique’s newest yachtsmen, but she is excited to showcase her skills leading the outdoor team. Iain, who is from Cape Town, South Africa, said he was “Friendly and positive all the time” which will hopefully endear him to the rest of his team. He explained that Mustique is “Needs good maintenance but a good sized strong ship with solid bones.”
Gael Cameron

Another new one Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 9 face, Deckhand Gael Cameron has only 3 years of sailing experience, but he knows his way around inside out. Gael, from Sydney, Australia, explained that he loves “free diving, scuba diving and eating” and in his spare time he enjoys Real Housewives concession. While the yachting lifestyle is exciting, Gael shared that “As much as it seems like a dream job, we make sacrifices” like being away “Friends and family for years…can be very challenging.” Gael is likely hoping to make good crew connections at Mustique.
Joe Bradley

When he’s new Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea, Deckhand Joe Bradley has been able to use his 3 years of boating experience to his advantage. He said there are some drawbacks to working in Mustique, which he misses “The most beautiful, kindest and strongest woman this world has to offer… my mother” when he’s on a superyacht. Despite its downsides, Joe shared that he’s had some amazing experiences with the charter and some less than amazing ones. “There was a catamaran crash in Italy” Joe shared. “The huge catamaran lost power and crashed against all the boats.”
Nathan Gallagher

The last new face Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 9 is Deckhand Nathan Gallager, who has only spent 2 years of his life in the sailing industry, but hopes to gain experience in Mustique. Nathan revealed that he is a boat lover. As a Below decks viewer, Nathan wished he knew what to expect when subscription season began, but watching a drama and living it are two very different things. He told about the tips he got in his time Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea “are the greatest. I have never received such tips in my life.”
