We all know that Grease is the word. It’s got groove, it’s got meaning… and it’s arriving in the capital city this summer in the form of an immersive cinema experience. Returning to London for the first time since 2022, Secret Cinema will be transforming part of Battersea Park into 1950s America – ready to welcome T-Birds, Pink Ladies, and beauty school drop-outs alike.
Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical will be the first of three consecutive Secret Cinema summer events, and will bring the beloved movie musical to life over the course of two-and-a-half hours. With a cast of 30 performers and giant multi-screen platforms; visitors will be able to fully immerse themselves into the world of Rydell Highwith every corner and crevice of the venue being transformed for the occasion.
Seamlessly blurring the line between film and live performance, Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical will allow visitors to step through the screenand experience the classic movie like never before. The interactive event will also feature live music, a summer fairground, and – of course – plenty of American-diner style food and drink, too.
Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical will run at Evolution London in Battersea Park from August 1 to September 7. Tickets will go on general sale in March.
