The storied vestiges of Ancient Egypt, from a limestone sphinx to ornate golden sarcophagi, offer a window into the distant past, and soon, some of history’s most invaluable artefacts will be displayed in London in all their remarkable glory. The exhibition, Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold, boasts the largest collection of Ramses II items to have ever left Egyptincluding the coffin of Ramses II himself and the golden mask of King Amenemope. It even has a unique stamp of approval from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

Coming to NEON at Battersea Power Station in late February, this is a rare chance to explore age-old treasures of immeasurable historic and cultural value.

Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold – Waitlist

What can you expect at Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold exhibition?

Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold is one of the largest exhibitions ever dedicated to Ancient Egypt, with over 180 authentic artefacts provided by the Egyptian Museum. It explores the legacy of Ramses II, a 19th-Dynasty king who ruled in the 13th century and was known as the ‘builder pharaoh’ for the large number of temples he commissioned.

You will be able to feast your eyes on shimmering gold jewellery and amulets, colossal statues – where every chip, dent and fragmented piece of stone tells a story – ancient hieroglyphics, and even animal mummieswith the preserved creatures serving as a precious insight into the rituals and traditions of the time. These compelling items are all showcased with the special support of the Supreme Council of Antiquitieswho protect the cultural heritage of Egypt.

As well as the extensive collection of artefacts, you can be plunged right into a world of powerful pharaohs, whirling sandstorms and awe-inspiring temples with the VR experience. Slip on a headset and sink into special 4D chairs to be taken on an enlightening animated journey into historyeven coming face-to-face with Ramses’ mummy.

Ramses and the Pharaoh’s Gold is a precious opportunity to learn about Ancient Egypt through real artefacts dating back over 3,000 years. With London as the only UK stop on an extensive world tour, this is the only chance to witness the priceless wonders for yourself.

Whether it’s an engaging history lesson for curious students, a chance to indulge your obsession with Ancient Egypt or an artistic interest in the striking hand-crafted relics of a bygone time, this exhibition is a must-visit for 2026.
