If you’ve ever watched someone compete in a TV quiz show or game and thought to yourself ‘I could do better than that’, we’ve got just the thing for you. A brand new, city-exploring immersive adventure is coming to London, to test how well you know the city. Introducing, ‘Race Across The World: The Experience London’. Are you ready to put your street smarts to the test?
That’s right, you can finally take part in the multi-award-winning TV show – right here in our city. Set to launch this Spring, participants will get to take part in the “race of a lifetime” as they roam the city “unlocking hidden secrets of the city in an unforgettable race to the finish line!”
Race Across The World: The Experience
The immersive experience condenses all of the excitement of the show into a 2- to 3-hour private team adventure. They’ve kept all of the basic elements of the show – such as the budgeting, strategy, and teamwork – but they’ve also got a few surprises up their sleeves. You’ll race against the clock, and explore hidden gems and iconic London institutions. Along the way, puzzles will guide you to the next leg of the race.
At the end, you’ll be scored based on your time and remaining budget. If you do particularly well, your team could even be crowned the daily or weekly champions.
Race Across The World: The Experience comes to us from CityDaysin partnership with All3 Media. CityDays’ “immersive urban experiences” allow participants to go on “adventures where you play the main character”. Currently, they operate 64 experiences across 16 UK cities, as well as an additional 24 cities around the world. These include 11 games in London, 4 in York, 3 in Manchester, 2 in Edinburgh, Oxford, Cambridge, Brighton, and Liverpool, among many others. These range from scavenger hunts to escape rooms, walking tours, food experiences, and more.
