There’s a number of ways to tell when spring is on its way to the capital city. The days start getting (ever-so slightly) longer, the temperature (occasionally) reaches double figures, and the sun (sometimes) starts shining. But the most reliable springtime sign of all is when the charming Dalloway Terrace has its annual flowery makeover. And guess what, folks? It’s time.
Quite easily one of London’s most Instagrammable restaurants; Bloomsbury’s Dalloway Terrace is back, and up to its usual verdant tricks when it comes to their décor. The restaurant’s idyllic terrace has been given a fresh, foliage-filled look for spring – and after what feels like the longest winter in history; sipping seasonal cocktails in this floral wonderland is just what we Londoners need.
In collaboration with Maison Mirabeau, this season’s glow-up is courtesy of Princess & Ko and has placed an extra-special spotlight on the mimosa flower – the official emblem of International Women’s Day. The mood-boosting botanical display will be the backdrop for the many events being held at the terrace; each of which will be dedicated to celebrating influential women. The green foliage intertwined with bright yellow mimosa flowers will spark some well-needed joy and happiness right in the heart of our (currently rather gloomy) capital city.
On the menu at Dalloway Terrace
The menu has also had a freshen up, and will now feature a selection of rosé-inspired cocktails, courtesy of Maison Mirabeau. The sparkly new cocktails will celebrate some iconic female, French actresses. The vibrant and fuirty Brigitte Spritz is inspired by Brigitte Bardot, whilst the crisp and floral French Pearl is inspired by Catherine Deneuve.
The spring food menu will include the likes of venison carpaccio, Portland crab linguine, and Thai green vegetable curry. And of course: Dalloway Terrace’s iconic afternoon tea will be available, so guests can tuck in to delicious finger sandwiches, freshly-baked, fluffy scones and decadent sweet treats. Sign me up.
