New pictures from the series Joker: Folie à Deux reveals the at least partial involvement of one Batman villain in the sequel.
Joker 2 has been filming for the past couple of weeks, and each day seems to bring more and more information about the DCU Elseworlds story.
Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn is depicted in a modernized version of the inviting outfit Batman: The Animated Series Harley to the action-packed car scene, leaks and images continue to reveal character, plot and story elements to excited fans.
Now, two new images have surfaced on social media, revealing another Batman villain’s involvement in the film to some extent.
Another Batman Rogue in Joker 2?
Pictures from the series Joker: Folie à Deux include references to Harvey Dent (Two-Face) that at least reveal the villain’s existence Joker The story of another world.
@hypefilo shared a photo on Instagram of a New York courthouse – which also featured Lady Gaga’s very own Harley Quinn – of what appears to be a protest or riot in support of the Joker. Among the signs and Joker masks is a cardboard poster figure “Harvey Dent is a clown.”
@thehobbyman showed another photo, this one of a man sitting behind a sign with similar text “Dent is a clown.”
The two-time Batman villain is a half-villain, half-lawyer/politician who has often served as Gotham’s District Attorney at some point in the comics. Signs suggest that the Joker has been captured, apparently by Harvey, signs that incriminate the man.
Two-Face in the Joker-verse
Even if it doesn’t fit second rogue to appear in the Joaquin Phoenix Joker movies, but the third after the titular Joker and Harley Quinn, Two-Face existing at least in this version of Gotham is an exciting prospect for fans.
It’s unknown if Harvey will have a larger role in the story or just a one-off mention in these characters, but it’s still noteworthy to see his name. As all fans know, Harvey hasn’t even been two-faced yet at the time of the events of the year. Joker 2because the signs are that he is acting as a lawyer and not as a villain.
Either way, as the Joker movies continue to establish themselves as their own, isolated universe of stories, they have the opportunity to feature unique versions of well-known characters, whether it’s the Joker, Harley, or even Two-Face.
