an artist's impression of the new BOX sports bar interiors with chairs and tables scattered around a room with screens playing live sport on every wall

Calling all sports fans who are looking for the next best place to watch live sports in London, this is just the spot for you. Off the back of considerable success and popularity up in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, and Sheffield, BOX is opening an enormous three-storey sports bar in London’s West End. And they reckon it’s going to be “the biggest sports bar in London”.

BOX’s newest (and biggest) location will open in Piccadilly on October 24and it’s set to be a belter of a new opening. Spanning 7,200 feet, the sports bar will be big enough to hold as many as 550 sports fans at a time. With wall-to-wall live sports, the venue will feature over 30 screens and giant displays. As if that wasn’t enough, dedicated fans can head to the “Box Below Bar”. This is a whole floor designed for the perfect viewing experience.

Said Co-founder and chief executive Martin Wolstencroft at BOX:

“BOX has always been about big energy, big screens and big nights, and London deserves nothing less. Opening in Piccadilly is a landmark moment for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally bring BOX to the capital. With more screens than any other bar in the West End (33), we’re setting a new standard for watching live sport (and partying!), making you feel like you’re right there in the stadium, taking centre-stage.”

Beyond sports at BOX

But BOX is about more than just catching the season’s most exciting sports fixtures. The venue will also feature competitive games, live music, DJs, and live band karaoke, where you can live out your rockstar dreams with a full band supporting you. So, even if you’re not watching the match (or if your team is losing…), you can enjoy the likes of shuffleboard, electric darts, and more.

And of course, they’ve got you sorted for food and drink. The menu ranges across burgers, pizzas, and sharing plates, with cocktails and beers on tap to keep your thirst sated. And brunch fans are sorted with the BOX bar’s iconic Bottomless Brunch.

Whether you’re keen to catch the latest game or simply want to soak up the atmosphere, be sure not to miss this raucous new venue when it opens.

BOX Piccadilly will open on Shaftesbury Avenue on October 24, 2025.
