Cocktails and burger at the Bush Tavern

New independent boozers opening up anywhere in London is something that always warms the soul. Shepherd’s Bush is blessed with a sturdy selection of watering holes, but a new member is always a welcome addition to the flock (not to confuse it with the pub on the same road that’s actually called The Shepherd And Flock).

The Bush Tavern arrives on Goldhawk Road today (November 20), replacing a former Brewdog site and run by the team behind the likes of fellow local haunt, The Hawk’s Nestas well as Peckham Arches and Bird House Brewery.

Food is also at the heart of the Bush Tavernand they’re getting in some friends to sling some delightful burgers and other such delicacies to the drinkers in the west of the city. Friends that have been dubbed the best burger in London by both Topia & Ed Sheeran. No Dramaan acclaimed spot in Actonsadly shut down earlier this year, but they’ll be making the Bush Tavern their permanent new home, slinging their beloved burgers once again after a brief pause.

Topjaw took Ed Sheeran along in 2024 after he asked: is it basic to say Patty & Bun is the best burger in London? and the singer was won over and proclaimed No Drama as his new undisputed best burger in the city. You’ll be able to try out the burgers that made them a household name in their little corner of the capital, as well as plenty of new creations from No Drama owner Brodie Campbell-Park & the team.

The No Drama Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburgerand All Day Patty can all be found alongside a Fried Chicken Sando or Crispy Mushroom Shirtif you’re in the mood to break the burger & a beer chain.

Brunch is on the cards, too, with the weekend meaning orders of the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese number or a Scramble Goodboth of which’d cure anyone’s bleary eyes from the night before. You can read the entire No Drama menu that’ll be served at the Bush Tavern by heading over to their Instagram page.

To add to the grub from No Drama, you’ll be able to enjoy quizzes, live music, comedy nightsand much more at the brand new pub opening up in West Londonwhere you can grab a pint from today.

Speaking on the new opening, Frazer Timmerman, Co-Founder of Bird House London, said: “The Bush Tavern blends classic pub culture with our style of contemporary hospitality. We’re excited to be working with local legends No Drama. They’ve built an incredible reputation in West London and this gives them a permanent home right in the heart of the community.

“Our focus here is simple: great food, proper drinks and a welcoming space for everyone. Over the past six years we’ve grown a family of neighbourhood venues, and The Bush Tavern marks our move into a more traditional pub setting while keeping the atmosphere and accessibility people know us for.”

The Bush Tavern opens today. Find it at 15-19 Goldhawk Road, W12 8QQ (the nearest station is Goldhawk Road).
