When Julius “JT” Clark appeared My 600 kg life season 8, he was 32 years old and 892 pounds, and it’s time to find out what happened to her after her episode aired. JT had a 100-lb lymphedema mass in his leg, making it difficult for him to walk. She admitted she was addicted to food and nothing in her life could compete with how it made her feel.
JT had a girlfriend, Jessica, who supported him at his worst and at the beginning of his journey. However, she broke up with him when his issues began to affect their relationship.
JT sought help from the famous My 600 kg life bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, AKA Dr. Now. She started JT on a controlled diet in the hospital because his condition was so severe. He was able to lose 126 pounds during this process. However, she needed some tough love from Dr. Now. The doctor was there to raise JT’s motivation.
When his journey began, JT had a girlfriend, Jessica, who supported him at her strongest, at the beginning of this journey. However, she later divorced him. When Jessica left him, her cousin Blair joined her in Houston to help her on her journey. After his weight loss surgery, JT lost about 400 pounds and weighed 491 pounds. Dr. Now told JT that he would be ready for his Lymphedema surgery in a few months. Although JT was nowhere to be seen My 600-lb life season 12, there’s still a lot to watch.

600-lb Life’s JT Clark lost more weight after the show
He continued to make progress
Luckily for JT, his weight loss journey continued after the show. He has also opened up about his struggle with depression on social media. Although she maintains a relatively low profile, she occasionally posts updates on Facebook, giving fans a peek into her life. JT started a relationship with a woman named Emily Mahan in February 2024.
600-lb Life’s JT Clark announced his lymphedema removal surgery
He wanted to get the mass out
In a Facebook post published on February 10, 2023 JT wrote, “HEY EVERYBODY. I NEED A CLUTCH HOUSTON TO GET THE MASS OFF MY LEG. ANYONE WANT TO DRIVE ME TO HOUSTON? YOU WILL RECEIVE FULL COMPENSATION.” He later commented that his uncle would drive him to Houston. On February 21, he posted “It’s finally happening. 15 long years.”
In 2024, Julius “JT” Clark’s Almost Unrecognizable
She showed off her thinner face in 2020
JT Clark posted on Facebook in 2020, and the difference in her appearance was shocking. That picture is shown above. Even though it’s been years, it’s one of the most startling pictures of a man who was once among Dr. Now’s heaviest patients. In the photo above, she has creatively dyed her hair or is wearing a wig, and her face is remarkably thin.
It’s hard to recognize him because he looked so different on the show. While he might not look exactly the same this year as he did in 2020, it’s likely that he’ll still be a lot thinner than he was in the series.
Most My 600 kg life patients don’t change that much. This is a very dramatic weight loss journey similar to Tammy Slaton’s physical transformation 1000-lb Sisters. In the post above, friends gently mocked Julius in the comments – they wondered what was wrong with his hair. He didn’t answer seriously. He answered:
dead albino squirrel hiding.
Since he was joking, it’s safe to say he was in a good mood at the time. Losing weight may have made him feel liberated. Many of the patients in the show feel constrained by their bodies – they feel like prisoners. Life is hard enough without having to deal with the pressures of being weighed down by so many. There are mobility issues, mental health issues, health issues and more. So when the weight finally comes off, it’s no surprise that people feel reborn.
Dr. Now was there on the Julius “JT” Clark series
However, it was still a tough journey
TLC posted a video of Julius’ journey on Facebook that showed the significant downside of being extremely morbidly obese. Julius could not fit in the car’s standard passenger seat, so he had to ride in the back of the vehicle. He found it painful to travel this way – Julius might also find it humiliating. In the clip, where fast food was picked up along the way, he struggled to get out of the car. It’s a bit unnerving to see a person feel so uncomfortable and unable to do things on their own.
However, Julius dared to go on his weight loss journey with Dr. Now. She had fears, but she fought against them and eventually overcame a weight loss problem that negatively affected her quality of life. In the video, after he managed to get out of the vehicle, he tried to enter the hotel. Drink in hand, he slowly walked down the hall to his room. Before that, he said he needed to “lie” or he would:
faint.
It is clear that overcoming this extreme weight loss challenge is a real victory. It is moving and inspiring. He could have easily died because he was so heavy. People who weighed less than him have died from obesity-related health problems. For example, show alum Gina Krasley died after a battle with cellulite, and she looked nowhere near as heavy as Julius was just before he sought Dr. Now’s help.
JT worked hard to lose weight and get healthier with Dr. Now. It’s great to hear that My 600 kg life the star has probably had Lymphedema removed from her leg. It would have helped him shed about 100 more pounds from his body. Although he battled many obstacles along the way, JT managed to achieve his goals. JT is an inspiration and I hope he has lived a happier and healthier life since then My 600 kg life the journey began.
