American fast food chain Wingstop will open 15 new restaurants across the country, including four in the capital. The franchisee, Lemon Pepper Holdings, has confirmed that nine new branches will be opened with negotiations underway for a further six locations this year.
The four London sites will be in Croydon Valley Retail Park, Hounslow, Clapham High Street and Westfield Stratford City. The UK franchise for US brand Wingstop arrived in the UK in 2018.
Wingstop has over 40 stores nationwide, selling 10 different flavors of wings. The company has revealed that the Hounslow store will open on Monday, February 26 at 11am. The first 100 customers eat for free.
The Clapham store will open in April, followed by Croydon in May. The new London stores will join branches already in the capital, although many of these are delivery only. The chicken shop was named Deliveroo’s best restaurant in 2021.
Tom Grogan, co-founder of Lemon Pepper Holdings, said: “After a huge year of expansion, we are delighted to be able to maintain this momentum with an exciting pipeline of openings, starting with four new London restaurants in Hounslow, Clapham, Croydon and Watford .Hounslow will open its doors on February 26, closely followed by Watford in March, Clapham in April and Croydon in May.

Wingstop serves burgers, wings, tenders, flatbreads and fries with a variety of sauces to choose from. They offer meal deals on delivery service Deliveroo from £16. This includes eight wings, three tenders and regular fries.
