Just when Keanu Reeves couldn’t get any better having been the leading actor in top films such as The Matrix and John Wick instalments, he is now set to take to the London stage with his band dog star this summer. Fans of the Canadian actor can see Keanu Reeves in a whole new light, as he swaps the Hollywood cameras for the bright lights of Camden’s Electric Ballroom.
Dogstar is a ’90s alt-rock trio comprising of vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Rob Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves, who are set to embark on a series of 13 headline shows across Europe later this summer. The actor also known for his appearances in Speed, Constantine and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure will be performing at the beloved Electric Ballroom on June 19.
After forming in 1994, Dogstar returned to the scene with Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees in October 2023 and will also be performing at Manchester’s New Century Hall on June 18. Alongside the newly-announced UK/European tour dates, Dogstar will also perform at a number of European festivals this summer, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Germany’s Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ringand Rock For People in the Czech Republic.
