The campaign saw LOCALiQ use a joined-up SEO, PPC and digital PR strategy to turn online search demand into bookings and sustained growth across The Cut & Craft’s restaurants in York, Leeds and Manchester.

The UK Paid Media Awards, run by Don’t Panic Events and accredited ‘Outstanding’ by the Independent Awards Standards Council – Awards Trust Mark, recognise campaigns across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland that deliver clear commercial results from paid media investment.

Founded in York in 2018, The Cut & Craft has grown into a three-site independent steak restaurant group, known for pairing premium steakhouse dining with a modern, design-led environment. LOCALiQ was briefed to support both day-to-day trading and expansion into new locations, including the brand’s 2025 opening in Manchester.

LOCALiQ’s approach combined local SEO, PPC and digital PR with location-specific activity for each restaurant and a focus on key trading priorities, underpinned by regular performance reporting and strategy reviews with the client.

Headline results included:

  • 269% increase in sessions
  • 48% improvement in clickthrough rates

PPC campaigns generated around 70% more website visitors year-on-year and helped position key sites as a goto choice for weekday lunch in the city.

Awards judges described the entry as “a genuinely integrated campaign” and praised its “best-in-class cross-channel collaboration” and data-driven approach to testing and optimisation.

LOCALiQ UK Managing Director Nick Ashwood said: “We’re incredibly proud to have our work with The Cut & Craft recognised with the Hospitality Campaign of the Year award.

“This win shows what’s possible when a great hospitality brand is supported by a data-led, integrated approach across search and paid media.

” By working closely with The Cut & Craft team, we’ve been able to turn digital demand into real bookings and long-term growth, and we’re looking forward to building on this together in the months ahead.”

The win adds to LOCALiQ’s growing list of awards across the UK digital marketing landscape, demonstrating the agency’s strength in delivering measurable results from SEO and paid media for brands in competitive sectors.
