ROUNIT European Tour “Romanians Return. Romania Grows.” continues on March 22, 2026 in London, with an event that brings together entrepreneurs, professionals and members of the Romanian community in Great Britain. The meeting will take place at Allum Manor Hall, WD6 3PJ, Borehamwood, starting at 10.15am and is free to attend, subject to availability.

A European route built step by step

The event in London is one of the major stages of a European tour that also started in the British capital, in 2025, and continued in Brussels, Rome, Chisinau and Milan. Each stop strengthened the ROUNIT network and generated concrete directions for the Romanian community in the diaspora.

In Brussels, in November 2025, the event benefited from the presence of the Ambassador of Romania to the Kingdom of Belgium, Andreea Păstârnac, and Exim Banca Românească presented financial solutions dedicated to Romanians abroad. In Rome, the maturity of the platform was confirmed as a project built together with the diaspora, and in Chisinau, in January 2026, the actions coinciding with the celebration of the Union of Romanian Principalities strengthened the ties between Romanians and Moldovans. The conference in Milan, on February 28, 2026, brought a remarkable participation of the Romanian business environment in northern Italy, with the presentation of concrete directions for attracting capital and investors to Romania.

What the event of March 22 brings

The agenda of the meeting in London covers topics of direct interest to Romanians settled in Great Britain: tools for capital repatriation and professional reintegration, procedures for recognizing skills acquired in the UK, opportunities for students, families and professionals who wish to return to the country, as well as the launch of the INFO ROUNIT publication and the presentation of the results of a sociological study on Romanian entrepreneurship, commissioned by ROUNIT.

Romanian Radio Great Britain

Also, new ambassadors and representatives of the ROUNIT global network will be presented, including new members of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Great Britain. The event will include an extended question and answer session, a tasting of Romanian products and a recital by tenors Alin Stoica and Mădălina Radu, together with artists Darya Rus, Mihaela Dragoș and Viorel Popovici.

What is ROUNIT and how it supports the diaspora

ROUNIT is a platform that connects Romanians from the diaspora with public institutions, chambers of commerce and local authorities in Romania, offering concrete support for those who want to invest or reintegrate in the country. Through its national network of professionals and through partnerships with county councils, patronages and partner banks, the organization offers market research, consultancy for accessing European funds and support in identifying business opportunities.

Registration in the ROUNIT platform is free until January 1, 2027 for foreign legal entities, companies and firms established by Romanians abroad or with wholly foreign capital.

The tour is made with the support of partners such as ONE United Properties, Exim Banca Românească, Banca Transilvania, Transgaz, Hidroelectrica and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, together with Romanian entrepreneurial communities from all over Europe.

Registration and confirmation of participation can be done at the WhatsApp number +40 761 894 863 or by e-mail at [email protected].
