London Underground and Overground closures, March 6 to March 8

Essential works mean some stations will be fully or partially closed.

To help you stay on track, we’ve listed all the planned changes across the London Underground, Overground, and Elizabeth Line.

London Tube and Overground closures this weekend

Friday, March 6

Dissolved: : Friday 6 March, the 21:59 train from Stratford to Richmond will terminate at Camden Road

Suffragette: Friday 6 March, the 23:03 Barking Riverside to Gospel Oak train is revised to terminate at Upper Holloway.

Barons Court: From Monday, January 19, to Sunday, June 7, eastbound trains will not call at Barons Court.

Cutty Sark: This station is closed until spring 2026 while all four escalators at the station are replaced. Use the nearby Greenwich DLR station to complete your journey.

Saturday, March 7

Circle: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service between Hammersmith and Tower Hill, and between Edgware Road and High Street Kensington.

District: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road.

DLR: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service between Poplar / Stratford International and Beckton / Woolwich Arsenal.

Hammersmith and City: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service throughout the line.

Metropolitan: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service between Baker Street and Aldgate.

Dissolved: Saturday 7 March, trains at 21:04 and 22:34 from Clapham Junction to Stratford, and at 2319 from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction will not run.

Piccadilly: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March (Including Friday and Saturday Night Tube), no service between Cockfosters and Uxbridge.

Tram: Saturday 7 March, from 21:00 and all day Sunday 8 March, no service between East Croydon and Wimbledon.

Barons Court: From Monday, January 19 to Sunday, June 7, eastbound trains will not call at Barons Court.

Cutty Sark: This station is closed until spring 2026 while all four escalators at the station are replaced. Use the nearby Greenwich DLR station to complete your journey.

Waterloo & City line: Service operates between 6am and 12.30am, Monday to Friday only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and on bank/public holidays.

Windrush: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March (Including Friday and Saturday Night Overground), no service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate / New Cross / Clapham Junction.

Sunday, March 1

Circle: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service between Hammersmith and Tower Hill, and between Edgware Road and High Street Kensington.

District: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road.

DLR: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service between Poplar / Stratford International and Beckton / Woolwich Arsenal.

Elizabeth Line: Sunday 8 March, no service between Stratford and Shenfield.

Hammersmith and City: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, no service throughout the line.
