We want everyone in our community who is affected by current events in the Middle East to know our thoughts are with them and that a range of support and advice is available.

Our teams have been actively monitoring the situation over the weekend and have identified a small number of staff in the region with whom we are in contact and have offered support and advice.

Any staff or students who are travelling in the region should check the latest travel advice from the UK Government and relevant local authorities or contact their travel provider and airline.

We know how concerned many of us and our family and friends will be about the current situation. Bristol is a diverse community with many different nationalities – we ask our community to support and respect each other during these difficult times.

This web page details what support is available for students during times of humanitarian crisis and global conflict.
