Updated ‘Privacy information: local authority employees’ including new sections on ‘Using your data to fund school, academy or college buildings’ and ‘Using your data so we can undertake long-term research and publish official statistics’.

Updated the ‘How long we keep your data’ sections and added links to the DfE retention schedule.

Added information about how long complaints are kept when they are made to TRA but not accepted as referrals. We have also updated the formatting to make the document easier to read.

Updated the information in ‘Using your data when you make a complaint about education providers, children’s social care or DfE’ and ‘Using your data when you make a referral of serious teacher misconduct to the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA)’.

Added the section ‘Using your data to administer DfE’s risk protection agreement’.

Updated data processors section for ‘using your data to support learner assessments’. We have also updated the ‘data sharing’ section to provide details of when we share your special category data.

Added sections 9.2 ‘Using your data when you make a complaint about education providers, children’s social care or DfE’ and 9.3 ‘Using your data when you make a referral of serious teacher misconduct to the TRA’.
