Fancy a paint fight? Signifying the triumph of good over evil, Holi is a Hindi holiday that celebrates the love between Radha and Lord Krishna. Traditionally a two-day celebration in India, it’s celebrated differently worldwide but almost always includes a colourful paint fight. In London, over a week’s worth of festivities are taking place, with events ranging from colour fights to Holi supper clubs – here’s how to get involved.

Cinnamon Collection

Executive Chef Vivek Singh is celebrating Holi with special menus across his five London restaurants, including a sharing feast at the Cinnamon Club and a limited-edition thali with thandai in Richmond.

Babur

Forest Hill institution Babur is celebrating Holi with a £70 five-course tasting menu and live entertainment from Absolute Bollywood. The menu includes dishes like Mango & Avocado Chaat, Banarasi Chicken Tikka, Fish Chokha Gujiya, and Moringa Jalebi with Saffron Rabdi, and you can add on an optional wine pairing for £30.

London Ki Holi Festival

Head to Hainault Skate Park for the city’s biggest Holi festival, where you can play with unlimited colours, watch Bollywood dance performances and Holi fireworks, dance to DJs at the laser and light Holi rave, see Navin Kundra performing live, and more.

This Indo-Chinese restaurant is doing its momo dumplings with colourful twist for Holi this year. Using beetroot, spinach and saffron, the normally white steamed Nepalese dumplings become full of colour. Filling options include chicken, beef, kid goat or vegetables, and you can get them as a snack at the bar or as a starter to your meal.

Impacts’ London Holi Festival 

Hackney Bridge is hosting Impacts’ London Holi Festival this year, so get ready for music, colour and festival energy. You get two organic colour packets per person so you can get involved in the action, and then there’ll be DJ sets, live dhol performances, and a load of street food to enjoy.

Holi Fest at The Cause

Holi Fest is heading to The Cause for its 2026 edition, which will be its biggest day party ever. Expect plenty of colour throwing; some epic headliners and DJs who’ll be announced on the day; and lots of Bollywood, Desi and club classic anthems.
