Boden shoppers are loving a top that’s the perfect addition to your spring and summer wardrobe. Simple yet stylish, you can easily wear it with shorts, trousers and skirts – either for work or play.

The Leah Short Sleeve Linen Top is originally £75-£79. But you can get 15 per cent off with the code XCRM, making it £63.75-£67.15. Available in sizes 4 to 22, it comes bright blue stripe, pink parfait, blue chambray, navy, white, yellow gingham and ivory/green floral. The Boden garment is crafted from 100 per cent linen, and is cut in a straight fit.

Designed to fall between the waist and hip, it’s finished with short blouson sleeves and an embroidered trim. The top has a 4.1 rating from 14 reviews.

One happy shopper wrote: “I love this top, it goes with everything! I will be taking it with me on vacation next week.”

Another added: “Very pleased with this versatile, well designed top. Another Boden wardrobe staple.”

A third commented: “I think of it as a ‘T-shirt replacement’, something you can grab and look and feel amazing in. I would love this in more colourways please.”

The garment is crafted from 100 per cent linen, and is cut in a straight fit. Designed to fall between the waist and hip, it’s finished with short blouson sleeves and an embroidered trim.

There has been minimal criticism of the product, but some customers complained about the sizing and fit: “An eagerly awaited garment that was sadly a huge disappointment. My usual size 10 did not fit across the bust area, so a size 12 was ordered instead and irritatingly this was not any better so had to return both.”

Alternatively, you could opt for the Women’s Short Sleeve Linen Shirt from Lands’ End. Available in navy, white, pale emerald/lilac stripe, sweet mango stripe and wild lilac, it has been reduced from £65 to £51-£52.

On the cheaper side, there’s the Linen Blend Open Collar Shirt from Uniqlo. Retailing for £29.90, it comes in off white, black, pink, red, brown and green.
