Two men are currently fighting for their lives in hospital

A West London man has been charged over a crash which saw a car collide into a fence – injuring two people. Police were called to the High Street, Harlington, at around 11:30pm on Saturday, 21 February to reports a brown Mercedes AMG S63 had left the road and collided with a fence.

Police and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. Paramedics took three men to hospital. This included the the two passengers – both men aged in their 20s and 30s – who remain in a critical condition. The driver was also taken to hospital, but there condition was deemed non-life threatening. No other vehicle was involved.

Manveer Mastana, 34 from Hayes is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Tuesday February 24). He has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop.

Detective Sergeant Fiaz Janjua, of the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this collision.

“Our investigation is ongoing, and we continue to review relevant CCTV footage. We are appealing to the public for assistance and ask that anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police as soon as possible. Any information could be helpful.”
