What do Davina McCall, Joey Essex, and this year’s cast of Married At First Sight all have in common? They were all spotted enjoying the quite literally sparkling atmosphere of Tulleys Christmas Lights at the end of November. Returning for a second year after huge success in 2024, Tulleys Farm isn’t holding back this year, adding more installations, a show, and even a VIP Apres Ski club alongside more than 30 million lights and a 500-speaker soundscape.

Situated in the scenic Sussex countryside, this spectacular seasonal event is another stellar addition to their fabulous roster of annual events, like their Tulip Farm in the spring or Scarefest during Halloween. This outdoor trail is a must-see for families, couples, and friends looking for a magical winter outing this Christmas – and it’s a feast for eyes, ears, and taste buds, so bring your appetite.

Tulleys Christmas Light Festival Experience

A short taxi ride from Three Bridges station (a direct train from many central London stations), and you’ll find yourself in an illuminated fantasy world that’s filled with festive design and creativity. Sectioned off into themed lands that channel the treacly merriment of Christmas, the route flows through dazzling twists and turns, revealing one breathtaking installation after another.

Back for a second year, you’ll wander through sections like Love Lane, a romantic corridor of glowing hearts and lovey-dovey fixtures (which saw a fair few marriage proposals last year!); or the dramatic Fire & Ice, where flames and water collide in an epic, choreographed display of contrasting colour. Some of the new installations for 2025 are an 11-metre Gingerbread House, afloat on the lake; The Spirit of Christmas Show; and the Apres Ski club where, for an extra charge, you can experience a taste of the VIP high life, cocktails, and a late-night DJ.

The don’t miss Secret London picks

Away from the VIP section, there’s still plenty to eat and drink. The Alpine Village, nestled in the woodland, boasts heated cabins, fire pits, marshmallow toasting and wood-fired pizza, while the Ski Lodge Bar has gondola-style seating and a live music stage. There are also multiple street food vendors dotted around Tulleys Christmas Lights, so you can grab burgers, hot dogs, and a Secret London fave: the Tulleys freshly-made doughnuts. Don’t forget to grab your marshmallows to toast at the open fire spots!

If the trail, and food and drink offerings, weren’t enough, there is a towering 33-metre Ferris Wheel to take a spin on – offering panoramic views of the festival and the surrounding area.

So, if you’re always on the hunt for the best light festivals in and around London as soon as December swings around, be sure to give Tulleys a chance – you won’t regret it!

How to get to Tulleys Christmas Lights

Getting to Tulleys Farm from London couldn’t be easier. The closest train station is Three Bridges, which is served by direct trains from London Bridge, Blackfriars, City Thameslink, and Farringdon on the Thameslink and Southern services.

The fastest trains to Three Bridges from London Bridge take approximately 35 minutes, which is followed by a 10-minute taxi ride, depending on traffic. This accessibility makes Tulleys an excellent choice for a quick festive escape from the city.

Prices for general admission start from £22.95 for adults and £17.95 for children. Booking in advance is advisable, which you can do on the Tulleys Farm website, Tulleys Christmas Light Festival runs on selected dates from November 28, 2025, to January 3, 2026.
