Two Brand New Christmas Food Markets Have Arrived At Major London Train Stations – You Can Expect Twinkly Chalets, Tasty Treats And Last-Minute Gifts On Your Commute

London is packed with Christmas markets every year, each with its own special charm – from mulled wine to handmade gifts and delicious seasonal treats. But this year, there’s something new to catch your eye while navigating the hustle and bustle of the city.

Just when you thought your daily commute couldn’t get any more festive, two Christmas food markets have popped up right at major train stations.

Real Food Market has brought holiday magic directly to these busy transport hubs with twinkly lights, cozy wooden chalets, and tasty bites perfect for a quick festive pick-me-up or last-minute gift shopping on your commute.

A brand new Christmas food market at London Bridge and King’s Cross station

This new 2025 market graces the walkway between St Thomas Street and Tooley Street outside London Bridge Station until December 21. Twinkly lights, wooden chalets with handmade gifts, and a live choir create an enchanting pathway. Commuters and shoppers alike enjoy artisanal foods amid the holiday glow.

Returning to King’s Cross Square until December 22the market features live music, toasted marshmallows, and delights like Sicilian panettone from independent vendors. Festive stalls invite tote-bag hauls right by the station entrance. It complements King’s Cross’s broader holiday events, including a 50-foot tree and curling.

Hamish Kiernan, Commercial Director, Property at Network Railcomments: “Seasonal markets like these bring our stations to life, creating memorable experiences for visitors while supporting independent businesses during the busiest time of year. They’re a perfect example of how we’re transforming stations into destinations, not just places to pass through, especially during the festive season.”

Philip Lowery, Director at Real Food Market, comments: “At Real Food Market, our mission has always been to reconnect people with where their food comes from and to champion small producers who create exceptional, sustainable products. These Christmas markets are more than seasonal shopping; they’re a celebration of craftsmanship and community. By bringing artisan food and handmade gifts to two of London’s busiest stations, we’re giving millions of people the chance to support independents during the most important trading period of the year.”
