A colourful display of digital butterflies on the huge floor to ceiling screens at Outernet

A magically mesmerising mixed reality experience has just landed in the capital city, welcoming Londoners and beyond to embark on a breathtakingly immersive journey – without having to pay a penny. The innovative experience in question comes in the form of The Butterfly Trail; a dazzling digital display that allows visitors to interact with beautiful butterflies on Outernet London’s rather hefty high-tech screens.

The free-to-visit Butterfly Trail has been designed by Pixel Artworksand is returning to Outernet’s Now Building for a limited run this festive season. The groundbreaking technology that’s been used to create the trail pushes the boundaries of digital design, giving visitors the chance to hold a digital butterfly on the tip of their finger, release magical AR butterflies, and trigger real-time animations.
