Sometimes it’s hard to find one venue that will please everyone in your group on a night out. Where, after all, will please foodies, craft beer drinkers, live music lovers, and gamers? Well, what if I told you there’s an enormous pub in Battersea that fits the bill – catering to all these demands and more? Introducing The Thieves, which is set to open (or re-open under a new identity, rather) this November.

Throwing open its doors on November 1The Thieves is the new identity for Battersea’s iconic Four Thieves pub. Don’t fret – they haven’t done away with everything that makes the venue so beloved! Instead, they’ve given the place a renovation – breathing new life into The Thieve’s interiors – so you can enjoy it for many more years to come. The new design “blends heritage character with modern edge” for a next-gen drinking experience.

An adults’ playground

The Thieves is here to steal you away from your humdrum life for a night of food, drinks, and thrilling gaming excitement. The venue boasts space for a whopping 500 punters at a timespread across multiple floors.

Upstairs, you’ll find a whole floor taken over by The Thieves Gambita gaming arcade loaded with classic arcade games, darts, pool, and even an R/C racing track. It’s the perfect spot for a bit of friendly competition. (Because you’re definitely better at pool after a pint or two, right?)

Event at The Thieves

Across the rest of the multi-level playhouseyou’ll find interactive cabaret performances, live music, themed brunches, immersive parties, and more. The Thieves is teaming up with “story-driven entertainment engineers House of Dinosaur and Twisted Time Machine” on an unbeatable roster of events.

Among the events to look forward to are:

  • Ultimate ABBA Party
  • Bingo Remixed
  • Stairs In Their Eyes Karaoke
  • Ultimate Pub Quiz Party
  • and themed brunches & dining shows on the likes of Disney, Taylor Swift, and Traitorz

And what’s there to eat and drink?

The Thieves has partnered with Balans – you know, the team behind London’s legendary late-night eateries – on a menu overhaul. Gone are the stuffy, boring old pub food ‘classics’. Instead, they’re offering a vibrant all-day menu of food ranging across brunch, sharing plates, Sunday roasts, and more. You can expect everything from smoked salmon benedict to pad thai and truffle fried chicken.

So, what are you waiting for? Round up your friends, cancel your plans, and head on down to The Thieves this November for an unforgettable night out.

📍 The Thieves, 51 Lavender Gardens, SW11 1JW. The nearest station is Clapham Junction.

Find out more when they’re open here.
