Richard Ashcroft has spent this summer playing on the world’s hottest ticket, but next summer he’ll be playing a giant outdoor show of his own as he announces a headline gig at London’s Alexandra Palace Park on Friday, July 17.
Warmups for Oasis as the main support don’t get much better than belting out Bittersweet Symphonybut now you can see an extended setlist, complete with songs from Richard Ashcroft’s entire career, including his upcoming new album, Lovin’ You, which drops on October 10.

Richard Ashcroft had previously announced a UK tour, which included a show at the O2 Arena on March 28, but due to the demand, another show from the former frontman of The Verve is on the cards, this time coming in the North London park during the summer. Yesterday (September 28) marked the final Oasis show on the UK leg of the reunion tour that kicked off earlier this year.

Those who pre-order Lovin’ You via the Richard Ashcroft webstore will also gain access to pre-sale for the show, which commences at 9:30am on Wednesday, October 1. If you’ve already pre-ordered the album, you will still be sent a pre-sale code for the show.
