Kenya: Call for bids for the procurement of lift maintenance services

On behalf of the Secretary of State for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the British High Commission (BHC) in Nairobi are seeking the services for the provision of lift maintenance services at the British High Commission Nairobi. We are therefore looking for a Supplier that has the relevant professional skills, experience, technical resources and financial capability to provide comprehensive lift maintenance services.

Full details on the requirements, including instructions for interested bidders and registration are available via the FCDO’s e-Procurement portal, which requires registration. Registering is quick, easy, free and is the only way in which one is able to review the tender documents

Competent and financially stable suppliers are invited to access the invitation to tender documents by following these steps:

  1. Open the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office eSourcing Portal website, register and sign in
  2. Navigate to provision of lift maintenance services at the British High Commission Nairobi.
  3. CPG/12942/2025. ITT 7298. Project 12942

Deadlines

A visit will be conducted in Nairobi on Thursday the 25/09/2025 at 09:00 (EAT). Tenderers are requested to meet the representative, Nancy Muthari the British High Commission, at Upper Hill Road, at 09:00hrs (EAT). The site visits will be conducted entirely at the Tenderers own risk and expense insofar as transport and accommodation are concerned. Tenderers shall make their own arrangements in this regard. Site visit registers will be completed in respect of all participating Tenderers and failure to attend the site visits may lead to automatic disqualification.

Please forward all the names of the representatives prior (by 24/09/2025 at 12:00 EAT) to attending the site visit to Thabang Mokoena via sending a message on Bravo or [email protected]. Kindly note that you will not be allowed on the premises if you have not forwarded or registered your name for the attendance of the briefing.

Please note that the invitation to tender documents should be completed and uploaded on the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office eSourcing Portal e-Procurement Portal by 15:00 EAT on 08 October 2025.
