Aside from talking about the weather and suggesting a ‘nice cup of tea’ as a means of solving – quite literally – any issue; there are very few things we Brits have down to an art as fine as the humble pub. With over 3,500 of them scattered across the capital, we’ve all got our two cents to put in when it comes to the conversation about which pub is the best of them all. But rather than getting into that debate right now, we’re just going to point you in the direction of eight London watering holes that have just been shortlisted for the oh-so prestigious National Pub & Bar Awards. So they must be doing something right, hey?
The annual awards are run by Pub & Bar magazine to celebrate the very best of British boozers, showcasing them on a national scale. The shortlisted spots for the 2025 awards have just been announced, and a whopping 256 establishments across the UK could be in with the chance of taking home a crown. Eight of which are in the capital city.
Taking into account various factors that affect the customer journey, including marketing, digital presence, design and service; 94 County and Regional Winners will be crowned at a ceremony in June. This year will also see some ‘Highly Commended’ titles dished out, too. We’ll certainly drink to that!
