
Horns in the air. First Five, now Slayer?! It’s truly the year to be a reunion tour, with thrash icons Slayer returning to the UK stage for the first time in six years. They will play their biggest-ever show in the capital at Finsbury Park on July 6just after a show in Cardiff on July 3, and appear on the stacked bill for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osborne’s farewell show in Birmingham on July 5.
They bring with them a truly star-studded lineup for the occasion, with the lineup including: Swedish melodic death metallers Amon Amarth, progressive titans Mastodonfellow thrash legends Anthraxhardcore kings Hatebreedand rising death metal band Neckbreaker.
How to get tickets to see Slayer in London
Tickets to see Slayer at Finsbury Park go on general sale this Friday, March 7 at 10am. There will also be pre-sales taking place for the show, including an artist sale that commences tomorrow (March 5) at 10am, which you can sign up for here.
Slayer are one of the early pioneers of thrash metal, becoming one of the ‘big four’ bands of the 1980s alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax. They played London on their farewell tour at Wembley Arena in November 2018 with Obituary, Anthrax, and Lamb Of God. They will play through a back catalogue that spans across more than 40 years, with hits from seminal albums including Reign In Blood, South Of Heaven, Seasons In The Abyssand God Hates Us All.
