The break from the hustle and bustle is a bit of me. Bliss. I have enough busy day in my daily life, so when I look for Tauto, I look at the area, its spaces and of course comfort.
Leeds is from where I come from, but in search of a little escape package, I tend to show farther away. But why…. Leeds are often underestimated but offers so much. So in this context, we decided to investigate what was closer to the home.
Leeds live in the iconic Leeds Fest, some of the best shopping malls, spas, bars and restaurants around, and on the other hand, the countryside is at your door, which offers long walks, wildlife and plenty of paint.
It’s just what you do. Close enough for excitement … but far enough away, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy a slower lifestyle.
And I stumbled across the most charming hotel over a stone’s throw from home – Weetwood Hall.
This historic building is in Leeds, a 4-star hotel and conference center. The property is 1540 and includes an 18th-century Jacobean Manor house, which is placed in a 9-hectare manor with forest and gardens for a charming walk. The building itself is enchanting.
Weetwood Hall is just a 15 -minute drive from the heart of Leeds, where visitors can enjoy a small retail management, while the Golden Acre Park is less than ten minutes away for those who want to enjoy the magnificent Yorkshire countryside.
If you are looking for a spa day, Weetwood guests can enjoy free access to David Lloyd Spa only 5 minutes drive and adventurers who want to explore outside the immediate vicinity, Weetwood provides a great basis for visiting local sights such a well -known spa town Harrogate.
It is difficult to find another charming base that offers so many activities for every marketplace.
It is fresh and sunny when we arrive and we easily check. The polite staff greets us and head to our third floor suite-Sather room. This suite is not far from the ordinary, insulating nature and charm. It has a spacious layout with a four -based bed placed against an abstract wall decorated with stunning flowers! A really impressive sight – a modern glow that is woven into the rest of the classically stylish room.
The room is equipped with numerous amenities, including extensive Lahti windows that provide a view of carefully maintained flour, cafe drive (including coffee makers and fires), seats with fresh flowers, dressing table and wardrobes filled with plush cabins and slippers. The amenities continue … Still, every detail nods smoothly to the heritage of the building….

We hip our evening clothes and enjoy coffee before going to the Stables pub in the hotel yard. It is rustic, cozy and hospitable with beams hung on ceilings, and the building heritage is adorned with walls that tell stories about the past.
The layout is cleverly divided. At the other end is a frosted lighting and a cracking log that has been paired with immersed sofas, while the opposite side of the bar has tall tables that provide a social environment and right, there is a dining room dedicated to those who enjoy Yorkshire’s food offer.
Outside, the yard is rich in benches and TVs that create an ideal place for game days and events, which is likely to provide a lively atmosphere.

We choose the Poseur table and some stories cloaked along the walls before we go for a walk to the site. This would be the perfect opportunity to take advantage of David Lloyd’s access – if we hadn’t been too eager to leave and forget our swimwear.
Fast fresh back in our suite and we are ready for our evening reservations at the Connive restaurant.
The Invoive restaurant offers a surrounding atmosphere with soft music that plays in the background, mood lighting and interior design in the blue, green and gold shades of the Navy, presenting a modern and modern atmosphere.

Upon arrival, we relax with a nice couch place with one more cold glass bubbles before we are shown to our booths, an intimate environment where we were given a wine and dinner menu.
Our beginners appeared without making our order. I chose one of the Yorkshire Charcuterie Platter events with gentle meat, salami, chorizo, Gervins, tangy chutney, pickles, onions, rocket and warm crisp bread. So many flavors that complemented each other and were beautifully presented on a wooden plate.
Served with the silver bumps, which the beak lifted, was served by the “smoked Whitby Fishcake” smoky and creamy fish that filled with a delicious crispy crushed finish, on the bed of the tartar sauce.
So far impressed and our beginners did not leave a bite, our steak plate arrived in perfect timing. (I couldn’t have had a juicy steak staring at me over the table and I don’t have the jealousy, so I chose the same).
The plates were rich in juicy steaks, grilled mushrooms, juicy thyme baked tomatoes and hand -cut thick chips – inside and crispy outside. The side of the abused onion rings and a great help from a pepper sauce made from a delicious container that is complete.
I enjoyed our meal thoroughly, a quick night arc in the bar and the four -column bed called our name.

The next morning we woke up fresh and rejuvenated when they had a peaceful night’s sleep! We have a relaxed morning by taking full advantage of bathrobes, slippers and coffee makers before leaving for breakfast.
We are greeted by a smiling staff and are shown to our desk by observing a lot of guests who enjoy a traditional English breakfast along the way. Table of fresh tea, coffee and milk is brought to our desk and the self -service station offers freshly squeezed juices, along with various choices, from hot traditional English breakfasts, muffins, pancakes, fruits, yogurts, jams and more. You won’t be hungry, you name it, they had it!
As a fuel and ready to leave, we go to a seamless checkout and say farewell and will soon be seen with our fantastic hosts!
Conclusion:
Weetwood Hall is a great choice for an unfamiliar holiday. From Yorkshire’s pub and local walks to the Fancy restaurant and access to the spa, friendly and agreed staff and relaxed atmosphere make a very desirable stay.
So thank you for hosting us Weetwood Hall. From arrival you couldn’t be more than adaptive! We’ll be back soon.
IF You don’t know – check out!
