Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile is hitting the road in Europe this summerwith a string of shows announced for the mainland, the UK, and Ireland that commence with a show at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall. On the tour named ‘The Lost Time’, Carlile will also be taking to Dublin, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow, before heading out for shows across the rest of the continent.

Prior to her jubilant support slot for Stevie Nicks at BST Hyde Park last summer and a show at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Brandi Carlile hadn’t played any UK shows since 2016; so this summer will make for a chance for many to witness her newer material live for the first time. This, of course, includes her latest record On These Silent Days (2021), which won three Grammy Awards in 2023.

The singer took to Instagram to post a lengthy statement (which you can read in full here) on the announcement, describing the personal connection she has felt to the locations from a young age, and how last summer’s shows transported her to a place she didn’t want to lose.

Part of this statement reads: “When I was a kid, the thought of making the kind of music that could take me overseas to the UK and Europe was outrageous. Inaccessible. The connection to these places was something I felt from a very young age. 12 actually.

“I met my wife in London & got married at Chelsea Town Hall, & I now cross the Atlantic more than I could have ever hoped for – but not nearly enough to play my music & bring my art home to the place where it really came from…

“I’m beyond proud to bring you The Lost Time Tour! We are going to take you on a journey through our songs and albums. The moments you’ve missed & moments yet to materialize! From our very first song, to brand new music no one’s even heard yet.”
