Since the TikTok ban, Angela Deem 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? went live on Instagram and claimed that her estranged husband Michael Ilesanmi would not return to any spin-off because of his behaviour. Angela brought Michael to the United States from Nigeria in December 2023, hoping to start a new married couple. However, it was difficult for her to trust Michael because of his untrustworthy behavior in her house. Angela criticized him, which eventually resulted his unexpected departure from his home in February 2024. Michael eventually settled in Houston, Texas. Feeling betrayed, Angela has been working to get him deported back to Nigeria.

Angela is very outspoken and doesn’t hesitate to criticize Michael on TikTok.

However, since the Chinese social media platform was no longer available in the US, she went live on Instagram and expressed her feelings for her estranged husband, Michael. According to the Instagram post @kikiandkibbitzAngela insisted that Michael would no longer appear on television, claiming, “he’s not going to the spin-off” because he is too much troubleand the network does not want a “troublemaker” like him in the show. Angela also revealed that she holds no grudge against Michael for cheating on her.

Angela said, “I don’t wish him any harm. I just don’t respect that man.”

Angela explained that when 90 day fiance producers encourage “drama” in the show they don’t like “problems.” He emphasized it “there is a difference” between drama and problematic. Angela also mentioned that she is now “happy” that she had realized she was the only one in the relationship, suggesting that Michael was not as committed or involved as she was. She also wanted her followers to avoid asking about Michael because she didn’t want to talk about him on her platform. Angela said, “he is gone from my memory.” Wearing an American flag hat and smoking a cigarette 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? the season 8 alum continued to warmly greet fans who greeted him during a live Instagram session.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows you can stream or watch right now.

When Angela accused Michael of being problematic, many 90 day fiance Viewers disagreed with him in the comments section. They didn’t think the Nigerian reality TV star could cause any harm during filming. Instagram user, @evangelistvernacomment, “Good Michael he was the one who was in trouble because of Angela.” Another user, @godzownjoydefended Michael saying, “No way. Mike is a distraction??!!” One more user, @renata_reynadaquoth, “he’s the problem” adding that her behavior is the reason she’s no longer appearing on reality TV. Many others said they would rather watch Michael in the spin-off than listen to Angela complain about him on social media.

What Angela’s claims about Michael’s return mean for her future

Angela probably feels that she is the main factor in making many shows popular

Angela’s recent statement that the network won’t hire Michael for the spin-off is somewhat understandable. She is aware of the stress her estranged husband caused her because he has cheated and provoked her anger. Angela probably remembers his deceitful behavior and the manipulation of his trust to come to the United States. Because of her past experiences, Angela sees Michael as a distraction. He believes that the network would hesitate to cast someone of his questionable nature together with their 90 day fiance spin-offs.

Angela may also have reacted negatively to Michael’s return to television as she sees herself as entertaining in the relationship. He often calls himself by name “queen” from reality TV on social media. Angela has always enjoyed being in the spotlight, creating drama and being herself in front of the cameras. He might think that Michael will throw in a spin-off wouldn’t be helpful to the network because he’s been a key player making their past performances entertaining. Angela probably feels that playing Michael would be too difficult for the producers because he doesn’t bring enough drama to the table.

Is Angela correct in her claim that Michael will not be rehired?

Michael has not hinted about an upcoming reality TV appearance

Michael ended his relationship with Angela when he left her house in February 2024. Since then, he has not teased any upcoming reality TV appearances or been seen filming on TV. Therefore, it is likely that Michael has not been re-elected after breaking up with Angela. However, his absence from reality TV may be due to the lack of an interesting storyline related to his romantic life, rather than being a distraction. Although Michael wants to return to television, he currently prioritizes a quiet life over participating in drama. Maybe that’s why he hasn’t come back 90 day fiance franchise.

Angela’s response reflects and demonstrates her character she still hasn’t moved on from the damage Michael caused. Although she claims she has no intention of harming him, her recent remarks suggest she still harbors a strong grudge against her estranged husband. It will be interesting to see if the network decides to feature Michael going forward. Angela has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with him, so it will be interesting to see her reaction if she appears next season. 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?.
